The Foundry d'Arte Massimo Del Chiaro, one of the most prestigious centres for the production of contemporary art, at Pietrasanta, a city famous for the artistic production of marble and bronze.

During his long career Massimo Del Chiaro has deepened the study of the antique method of lost wax casting (the same method used by the Greeks, Etruscans and Romans) until becoming one of the most appreciated experts at world level.

The company today is run by Franco and Barbara, sonand daughter of Massimo it was founded in 1980.

Conceived in accordance with the most moderNn use of space,the Foundry occupies an area of 7.000 square meters, divided into extensive well equipped studios, which are free to the sculptors, with all the necessary assistance; an area used for relaxing and photographing the glazed statues; a large space with a twelve meter crane for theassembly of colossal size works.

In the workshop in Via Delle Iare bronze sculptures are actualisedof any size or subject, directly from models provided by our clients, or statues from an artistic ideasubmitted by a design or photograph.

The company employ around thirty highly specialised employees that have worked for years with artists from around the world i.e. Karol Apple, Joseph Beuys, Stanley Bleifeld, Fernando Botero, Manuel Carbonell and many others.

The Del Chiaro family work constantly for the propagation of the art and culture of artistic artisanship, taking part and supporting initiatives in the territory and region.
