A stunning panorama at 2410 meters od altitude and typical cuisine

On the top of the Seceda Mountain, just above the Ortisei village, in an altitude of 2410 meters above sea level, there is a precious refuge, the Sofie hut, offering you a stunning panorama of impressive Dolomites while you are tasting Italian typical dishes paired to DOC wines. Built by Mrs Sofie in 1967, the refuge today is run by the son Markus and his wife Brigitte.

From the panoramic terrace, you can enjoy the superb panoramic view seated on the comfortable outdoor sofas as well as from the new wide window of the lounge. The traditional “stube” offers simple and genuine typical Tyrolean specialities but also dishes from international cuisine. In the wine cellars, with over 500 worldwide wine labels, are organized guided wine tastings.

For a special experience, it is possible to reach the hut by helicopter or enjoy a fairy-tale atmosphere on the New Year Eve with dinner, fireworks, DJ set and entertainment.
