A design champagnerie in Milan that aims on the essentials

A few steps from Porta Venezia in Milan, hidden in the under ground, (the entrance seems an art exhibition), Dasein, a name which pays tribute to Heidegger's existential philosophy, is a unique place of its kind.

This family run “champagnerie”, renovated in every detail, has very well kept furniture with original terracotta vaults and natural teak flooring.
Its walls showcase significant works by young and emerging talents.

And it is exactly the essential, as understood by Heidegger, the "Dasein", that is reflected in the menu such as the “brisaola” (cured beef) of different aging, served without any seasoning, to not modify the aroma, or the Slow Food Presidium’s “Bitto” (traditional mountain cheese) combined with prestigious “Cuvées millésimé" (vintage) Champagnes or small wineries’ Champagne, often organic and biodynamic.

Dasein is the point of reference for a clientele that loves genuine but refined flavour, simple but rich in tradition.
Here you can have a drink starting at 6.00 p.m., choose a food tasting, have dinner until 2.00 a.m. from Tuesday to Saturday, enjoy live music once a week or reserve the “champanerie” for a party or a private event.
