Situated at Planpincieux, only a few minutes from Courmayeur and the Mont Blanc tunnel, Ristorante La CLOTZE, with its romantic style, is a magic place, throughout the seasons, a place where peace enters the soul.

This state of elation is procured by the sophisticated ambience, the quality of the cuisine, and the gastronomic choices, including flambé cookery, the perfection of the service, that combine admirably with the philosophy of the Chef, who, each day, devotes his culinary passion to the rediscovery of forgotten flavours.

The menu is enhanced by a careful search for local,seasonal, food. Bread, pasta and pastries are all home made. There is a wide range of excellent cured meats and cheeses.

It is possible to taste important wines from the cellar, in the centre of the room, with an alcove dedicated to romantic dining.  Giovanni, expert in wine, will be happy to recommend the right wine to match the tasty recipes that Donatella produces.

Donatella and Giovanni propose a second restaurant, inside Hotel lo Shatush, situated at the start of the eighth wonder of the world the "Ski Way". The restaurant has a modern style, with distressed wood,it is romantic and elegant. Candles and soft lighting, render the room magical and smart. The restaurant is open from 7:30 a.m. offering an excellent buffet breakfast, including local produce, home made bread, cake, pastries, jam, local yoghurt, cured meats and cheeses, toasted bread and fresh pressed juices. The café served by professional staff, offers a snack bar service throughout the day. The dinning room, whose balcony reveals a spectacular view of Mont Blanc,has an excellent gastronomic and traditional cuisine, presented in a style that mirrors the room, where the protagonist is the creativity of the Chef. An excellent service of aperitifs and a cellar with a wide selection of National and International labels. Pleasant and professional staff are ready to satisfy all your requests.
