One of the first in Italy, with more than 80 years of history, Courmayeur Golf Club, in Val Ferret, began in1935 from a project of Peter Gannon then Henry Cotton.

It is easy to reach, only 8km from the centre of Courmayeur and 5km from the Monte Bianco tunnel and from the exit of the A5 Torino-Aosta-Monte Bianco.

At 1560 meters above sea level, the course offers breathtaking views of the massifs of Monte Bianco and of Grandes Jorasses.

The nine hole course with dual starts (PAR 70; men 5508 mt- women 4791mt) is essentially flat and winds along the river bank of the Dora river, crossing it with two spectacular PAR 3.

The PAR 70 contains a further PAR 3 four PAR 4 and two PAR 5.

The Courmayeur Golf Club has diverse practice areas a Driving Range, two Pitching Greens and two Putting Greens.

The Club House, originally a hunting reserve, was renovated in 2002 preserving the rustic style of a mountain chalet.

An evocative characteristic structure that offers its members and visitors numerous services such as bar, restaurant that can hold 150, a large terrace with views on the highest peaks in Europe, a “buvette”, relax area and men and ladies changing rooms.

Adjoining the Club House there is bag storage and equipment rental (Golf Carts, electric and manual carts, sets of clubs and complete golf bags), Pro-Shop for best brands golfing articles.

During the season (1st June to 1st October) more than 40 sporting events are organized for every playing level; moreover with the help of three professional teachers they organize specific courses for children, young people and adults and promotional activities aimed at newcomers.
