Ferrini Maria Rita

Maria Rita Ferrini was born in 1957 in Perugia, where she currently lives and works.
She graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Pietro Vannucci.
She has participated in two painting competitions in Moncioni (Ar) and two Flash Art events in Trevi (Pg). To these are added participations in collective organized at various local events in Umbria.

In September 2002, the artist participated in the exhibition competition "Color Form Art" - first prize of contemporary art in Campello sul Clitunno (Pg), when she won the second prize.

Her painting is based on the fluidity of her watercolors, on the mixture of tones. She portrays what surrounds her, her city, the immense expanses of flowering fields around it, looking foragreements and harmonies in color. In her glazes, magical atmospheres, that the watercolor requires and that the artist captures, obtaining a painting that guides the soul to the interiority.
