112 SANREMO. Born in the City of Flowers, Georgia Mos is one of the most engaging and fascinating Italian DJs famous throughout Europe and beyond. Daughter of a beautiful couple of elegant jewellers, the seductive Georgia Mos (Giorgia Moschini) takes her first steps as an artist in Sanremo at the School of Dance of Luisella Vallino. At the age of 15, take part in some choreographies by artists present at the Festival of Sanremo. Following, numerous will be her shows, not only on the Ariston stage but also in both Rai and Mediaset television broadcasts, in which she began to sing, after years of singing school between Sanremo, and Discografica Milano. She has a characteristic tone of voice, as well as very tuned, she dances, acts, and also knows how to organize small and large events, and as a young girl, she also participated in various regional and national beauty contests. In short, eclectic Georgia did everything by herself, but - she said - it was necessary to go to Milan because I felt hemmed in Sanremo. Then her career took a different and particular road while remaining in the entertainment industry. She begins to familiarize herself with audio mixing consoles, becoming a famous DJ with the distinction of adding singing performances, something that normally national and international DJs can’t do so often. The most fashionable squares and tourist resorts compete for her to the sound of dollars (not even euros) and every summer the beautiful Georgia continues to attract the attention of the media, especially because she has a great success on social media, as well as an amazing physique. Known as one of the best Italian DJs and producers, Georgia Mos, takes us towards the beautiful season with her very personal and original remix of the song La Primavera by Lorenzo Jovanotti. This is the umpteenth milestone reached by an artist who, starting from the apprenticeship, has achieved increasing popularity which has led her to collaborations of international prestige. Her song “If you had my love”, a re-work of the famous hit by J.Lo, quickly reached over three million plays on Spotify, and the very recent record collaboration with the Swiss artist Pull N Way in the song ” Will you follow me?” are just some of Georgia Mos’s works. Among her great hits are also Call 911 feat Ella Loponte, Amami a tempo, a record sung and co-produced by Georgia for Universal Music, and Ego Music Y U? feat Nino Luca. We met our girl immediately after her interview with Sky Television. Georgia why did you choose the remix of La Primavera to celebrate 2022? Can you tell us how you got involved in this project? It was a surprise! At the beginning of the year, I was contacted by the Jovanotti team who wanted three versions of the song and one was mine with house and electro house inspiration. I only had three days to do it. Lorenzo is a champion and I’ve always been a huge fan of him, so it was a great satisfaction. He was immediately happy with my version and now I can’t wait to play it, I hope in front of him. So, will you be among the guests of the Jova Beach Party? It is in the air, I would like to be there, at least in Liguria, it would be another great satisfaction that would be added to others that have happened to me in the last lucky weeks. Now that discos and dance clubs have reopened, can you tell us how you experienced the pandemic and if you are now more optimistic than before? As for many colleagues, it was a hard blow, especially for those who, like me, work a lot in the East. I returned to Sanremo to be quiet with my family. Of course, I suffered a great lack of direct contact with the public. Last summer, however, I did a few things. Let’s say that now I’m experiencing a very positive moment, in fact, I’m leaving for Rome, then I’ll be in Courmayeur: the year looks positive, obviously using the necessary safety checks. When everything was closed, did you still work at home or did you take the opportunity to catch your breath? It was a time of relaxation and a lot of creativity. I cycled on the Sanremo cycle paths: it gave me a lot of peace of mind. I made a couple of productions and I was always in communication with my followers: every Saturday evening I organized a social party. From Sanremo to the conquest of the world: how difficult was it to carve out one’s own space in a world that is still very sexist? Today’s situation has definitely improved, but there is still a world that is so much, too much, male chauvinist. You must first get to create credibility that is not easy, but I have met a lot of support from colleagues, males of course. However, it takes a lot of passion and a lot of spirit of sacrifice. Miami, New York, Ibiza: which is the capital of dance music today? To also follow my nature, I think Ibiza. It is the city par excellence of dance music, from May to October all the best DJs in the world
