The plain that extends from the centre of Falcade to Caviola is a charming place with many opportunities for fun and many services provided, where visitors can spend happy and carefree hours in direct contact with nature. Called La Piana, it is a beautiful green field with a recreation area provided with colourful inflatables, soccer and football fields and volleyball, beach volley, bocce and tennis courts, as well as a bicycle path, a signposted track for Nordic Walking and a nice lake where it is possible to fish. Ideal for families with children, La Piana is easily reachable from the closest villages also by public transport. Here local hiking guides organize also mountain walks dedicated to children, to discover nature, the animals of the mountain pastures and teach the history of these territories. For those who love mountain biking, the nature trails will allow you to admire Cava Lake as well as the streams that run along the walls. For those who are not very sporty but still love the outdoors at your disposal, there are very comfortable e-bikes with which you can travel the most suitable paths in complete tranquillity and safety. For those who love mountain biking, there are natural trails or routes as that connecting Falcade with Moena-Lusia and Passo Fedaia. For families there is the path around the Biois stream. There are many wonderful places to visit in Falcade such as the Val Fredda, which with its typical mountain farms retains the appearance of the past. The high-altitude artificial lake Cavia can be reached from both Passo San Pellegrino and Passo Valles. Of great tourist attraction is the tabià, whose function was that of a barn, stable, or sometimes a warehouse for the storage of animal feed. Another attraction is the Bosco Degli Artisti, a space created in the middle of the wood by local artists and used for beautiful classical music concerts immersed in the greenery and silence of the Dolomites.
