126†COLLEZIONE ARTE CONTEMPORANEA†2022 †Maria Grazia Raffaelli was born in Turin and lives in Venaria Reale (To). After her artistic studies she worked in the advertising field. In 1993, she has returned to expose her works. The artist prefers to realize these using oil on canvas, a technique that she considers more suitable to translate into images what she wants to convey, that is the feeling of a physical presence in a particular place, and to convey the message in a more immediate way. (...) Necessary premises that induce the observer to contemplate details of a nature shifted and creatively reinterpreted by the artist from Turin to the point of progressively losing them and, subsequently, reconsolidating them in alternative paths in which logic falls and ceases to exist in the name of an expression close to the impression, to the sensation and to an abstraction in an “animico” sense.
