Armato Vincenzo

Vincenzo Armato was born in Mazara del Vallo (Pt) in 1952. He currently lives and works in Mazara Del Vallo.

After a long journey into the soul of modern and contemporary art, the artist decided to live a new experience and creates the project Fumo d’Artista which consist of pasting packets of cigarettes, lighters, matches, maps and cigarette stubs on a colored support.

In his works, the artist wants to convey that “smoke is just smoke, of everything there is nothing left”.
