Bassanello Imelda

Imelda Bassanello was born in Vicenza in 1950.

Here, she graduated at Instituto Bartolomeo Montagna.

Later, she has frequented Francesco Coz’s studio in Cittadella (Pd), where she has learnt and developed the technique of decoration and ancient painting on panel, that she has reworked in a personal way.

In 1976, the artist moved to Savona, where she has started her artistic career.

She has partaken in several solo and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad and she has realized various urban projects.

Imelda Bassanello, known for her unique style, demonstrates to be a versatile and complete artist.

In fact, her artworks enlighten her lively personality that, with a sculptural agility, demonstrates that the artist could renovate continuously herself staying loyal to the delicate effusion of magic color that makes every exhibition an original fable.
