Filippetti Andrea

Andrea Filippetti was born in Lucania (Pz) in 1949. He lives and works in Bari.

He graduated in Scienze Agrarie at Università degli Studi of Bari, where he has hold the task of associate professor. He approached the art as autodidact.

Andrea Filippetti has realized several exhibitions, solo and collective, and festivals in art galleries and public spaces like Galleria Club Gioia in Gioia del Colle (Ba).

He has realized murales at Chiesa di San Ciro in Mungivacca (Ba) and at Facoltà di Agraria of Università di Bari.

During his activity, he has earned important prizes and acknowledgements, among which the First Prize Rassegna Arte del Cantapuglia, at Fiera del Levante of Bari in 1995, and Premio Internazionale Sguardi d’Autore, received by Associazione Arte 74 in Bari in 2013.

Art critics like Dino Bianco, Gustavo Delgado e Franco Calabrese have written about Andrea Filippetti.
