Wonderful refuge among the mountains of the Natural Park of the Dolomites d'Ampezzo

Nestled among the beautiful peaks of the Natural Park of the Dolomites d'Ampezzo, not far from the Fanes waterfalls, is a fantastic refuge, where you can disconnect to find peace and serenity in the midst of nature or where you can stop to refresh yourself after a hike on foot or on skis.

Managed by a young team, Malga Ra Stua offers all the warmth of a mountain home, with its wooden rooms overlooking the forest and the scents of traditional cuisine.

Here, in fact, you can taste specialties such as casunziei, canederli, local cold cuts and cheeses, homemade desserts, and many other simple and genuine dishes prepared by Chef Alessio Parrinello, who combines passion, memory, and the best raw materials of the territory in his dishes.

On sunny days, the large terrace provides a splendid view of the pastures around the refuge, along with your meal.

Thanks to its location, Malga Ra Stua can be reached by car from the St. Hubertus parking lot (except during snowfall and in the months of July and August) or on foot via the trails of the Natural Park of the Dolomites d'Ampezzo. In the summer, a private shuttle service is also available (for information, please contact the Park Information Office) to go up and down from the parking lot.
