Flora Alpina Refuge, relaxation, peace and taste at an altitude of 1800 meters in the heart of the Dolomites

Immersed in the quiet of nature at 1800 m, nestled between the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, and at the same time easily accessible by car, the Flora Alpina Refuge is located just 2 km from the Col Margherita cable car.

Surrounded by an infinite number of paths and the most beautiful cycle paths in the Dolomites, the refuge is the ideal solution for hikers and bikers. This is why several cycling champions such as Ivan Basso, Vincenzo Nibali and Peter Sagan finished their training here, just to name a few.

The Flora Alpina Refuge is also the ideal place to rest after hiking and taste the products of the Dolomites, such as potato gnocchi with smoked ricotta, casunziei (fresh stuffed pasta), canederli (bread dumplings), shinbone, and all homemade desserts.

If, on the other hand, you prefer just a snack, you can choose between platters of cold cuts, sandwiches, hot dishes, or the hugely popular homemade desserts.
